It’s not about the race
#runforwomen I just competed my second “virtual race”. This was not necessarily a challenging distance for me and virtual racing is not...

Elegantly surviving the ups and downs.
Grit&Grace is about me, but it’s also about you. Grit&Grace is about goals and dreams, but it’s also about failure and heartache. Grit&Grace is about falling, but it’s also about getting back up. Grit&Grace is about things going terribly wrong, but it’s also about how things can turn out to be amazingly good. Grit&Grace is my mantra, but it’s also what draws me to others.
Grit&Grace is how I navigate this crazy thing called life, so read on & join the journey!
Why now?
Lockdown challenge - a little thing I dreamt up for my family to encourage reflection and motivate physical activity as we were once again placed under lockdown due to COVID-19.I challenged my family (and a few very loyal friends) to a new challenge every day for 30 days. Each day I would send a text depicting a physical challenge, as well as a thought provoking question or reflection. One of the questions was to identify an objective for yourself in 2021.Mine was to write my first blog. Grit&Grace has been idling around in my head for a while, but the lockdown challenge has helped my bring the dream to life!

“Progress lies not in enhancing what is, but in advancing toward what will be.”
